Online classes for adults 18+
In The Working Actor session on the Zoom platform, we will focus on self- tape audition tips and technique, the genre and tone of projects that film in your region and booking co-star roles on those projects!
Class requirements: laptop, strong internet connection, a quiet place in your home and agent representation. It's highly suggested that you have taken at least one Act ALIVE! class and you have already done at least one self-tape audition. Conquer the Co-Star!
Looking to book your first co-star role?
In this class we will CONQUER THE CO-STAR and teach you everything you need to know to book that role!
Do you notices the smaller roles on TV shows that keep the plot moving? The receptionist, restaurant host, bartender, bouncer? Casting Directors are looking for new faces to fill these smaller co-star roles All. The. Time. You don't need an extensive resume to get cast. All you need to be is well-trained. That's where this class comes in.
Each week you will work on at least one script from TV and film. We will cover different types of roles, from professional to emotionally charged, spanning all genres from comedy to night time drama. By the end of this three-week session, you will have the tools and technique to succeed! Andi Matheny shares her success formula that helped her accumulate her 46 IMDb credits!
