WINTER 2021: ANNOUNCING ONLINE MEISNER 1 and MEISNER 2!

This is an intensive ten-week Meisner Intensive class led by Certified Meisner Instructor, Eugenie Bondurant.  This approach to acting encourages the actor to develop truthful communication through interlocking relationship-building exercises. Actors will refine their skills of observation, become more alert to responses and learn how to engage immediately and directly with their partners.

 

The premise of the class is to embody the power of real listening and doing to create a vivid life of living truthfully under artificial circumstances.

 

Most classes will consist of a warm up improvisation followed by core Meisner acting exercises. Homework will be assigned which will include practicing online with fellow actors outside of class and prepared improvisational scene work. A dedicated journal, water and comfortable shoes are suggested for each class.

New students are required to enroll in Meisner 1.  Students who have completed Meisner 1 may enroll in Meisner 2.
