Summer 2020 Kids & Teen Classes (Ages 7 to 17)

At the Andi Matheny Acting Studios, we offer the following sessions for Kids and Teens: Fall, Winter and Summer. We also offer special on-camera bootcamps during the summer, which are usually announced in early March.
The duration of the sessions vary depending on our schedule.
Our curriculum includes theater games, scene study, improvisation, comedic and dramatic instruction, monologues, audition training, with some on-camera days included. Build confidence while getting a real professional education in the acting industry!

Summer 2020 KIDS AND TEENS CLASSES Classes and Workshops!
SATURDAY CLASS SCHEDULE:
KIDS (ages 6 - 11) Saturday Classes starting June 6 9 - 11am
In this special summer program we're adding special on-camera auditioning technique in each class for our younger actors besides our usual theater games and acting exercises. $230 for the eight-week package, $195 for six classes. Taught by our professional coach Rebecca Goldman.
TEENS (ages 12 - 17) Saturday Classes starting June 6 11a - 1pm
Your teen will get a great workout in our classic format classes, including theater games, improvisation, scenes and monologues. $230 for the eight-week package, $195 for six classes. Taught by our professional coach Rebecca Goldman.
SPECIAL WORKSHOPS:
ON-CAMERA TV & FILM AUDITION WORKSHOP * Saturday and Sunday July 11 - 12 *
Saturday: 1:30 - 5pm
Sunday: Noon - 5pm

Learn on-camera audition technique with real scripts from TV and film. We cover commercials too! Get confidence in front of the camera that you can use not only as a professional actor but in school as well. Taught by our professional coach Karleigh Chase. NOTE: This is a mixed class with teens and adults.
TEEN FILM CAMP! FOR AGES 12 - 17!
MONDAY - FRIDAY JULY 13 - 17

Get real-life experience what it's like to be an actor on a set! In this one-of-a-kind camp, your teen will be an actor in a short film playing a role written just for them. They will get an IMDB credit and an up-close vantage point of the filmmaking process. This camp is limited to ten actors only and will sell out so enroll now! Taught by award-winning actor-playwright Karleigh Chase!
