Summer 2020 Teen Online Camps - ages 10 - 17
We're taking our classes online and they're a blast! Take a look at our two camp offerings below for on-camera training, movie making and fun. Both are taught by Teen Film Camp Director and NYC-based actor Karleigh Chase!
Slate to Screen Audition Bootcamp
Inspired by a popular Instagram isolation challenge, this camp focuses on audition technique while tackling self-taping at home. Each student will be assigned two scenes selected from the popular Netflix Shows, The Outer Banks and I Am Not Okay With This. During class students will learn self-tape basics and rehearse scenes. As homework, the student must self-tape their scene between classes. Tapes will be reviewed and critiqued and then students will watch the finished product of the scene to see how auditions translate to set.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
June 15, 17, 19
1 - 4pm

Teen Zoom Film Camp
The Teen Film Camp has been our most popular Summer Camp for the last three years! As people assess their own risk levels and attempt to return to normal, we wanted to continue to offer this valuable experience in a modified format. This year’s film will be shot entirely on Zoom. Capitalizing on the popularity of the platform and our shared experience, the film will be modeled after SNL at Home. Each student will receive a digital copy of the finished film and IMDb credit.
Logline: One month into a global pandemic, Ms. Swanson’s class adjusts to virtual learning. Staying home from school used to be a dream, but school at home may just be a nightmare.
