Author, journalist, and performer Lisa L. Kirchner brings diverse talents to the classroom. After a career spent heading up international marketing for various organizations, Lisa's life took a U-turn when she moved to India to study yoga and meditation. Back in New York City, she began teaching yoga while writing what would become her critically-acclaimed memoir, Hello American Lady Creature: What I Learned as a Woman in Qatar. During that time she began performing, becoming a story coach for The Moth, a veteran of several solo shows, and now she's a guest on HSN. She created and hosts St. Petersburg's monthly storytelling show, True Stories. More at www.LisaLKirchner.com.
