Solo Storytelling, Level 1 with Lisa Kirchner - SOLD OUT!
Turn the most meaningful events of your life into powerful self-expression. In this 4-week workshop, award-winning performer and teacher Lisa L. Kirchner will help you mine your own personal stories to find the truth, the heart, and the humor in your tale and transform it into an audience-ready 8-10 minute solo piece. Beyond plot, we'll look at the architecture of your story to establish a frame that will raise the stakes and keep listeners riveted. Bring three ideas to the first session–whether it’s about your terrible love life, childhood challenges, or even a nagging medical condition–and we'll zero in on the right story to make stage-worthy. We’ll work with developing characters, creating hooks, and storytelling tips and tricks to help you think outside the box and take risks with your material to create a truly memorable experience.
4 Sundays June 16 - July 7 plus performance date TBD!
12 - 3pm

Class size is limited - Age 18+ only
